   Tom Salo is a 2D animator and illustrator who graduated BA Animation at London College of Communication with First Class Honours in the summer of 2019. He has since kept busy with a stream freelance work, including work for Cartoon Network.

   His 2018 student film Who Wants To Be A Cat is currently doing the festival circuit having premiered at Monstra Animation Festival in Lisbon, March 2019.

   In 2016 he finished a foundation course at London Metropolitan University which saw his work featured in an installation lead by Japanese audio visual/performance artist Noriko Okaku at the multi award winning Rosemary Branch Theatre. His work was also selected for the Bloomsbury Published book ‘Animation In Context’ by animator Mark Collington (available here).

   Before university, Tom was the singer and songwriter of the band Climbing Boys who released a single with Birthday Records and toured the UK in 2014.
